The Sunday Edit #15
Summer has gone way too fast and I can't believe that I have to go back to school on Wednesday! I am not really looking forward to that!
This week has been really good, I have been working again and have earned some more money so I am going shopping today to pick up some goodies!
Yesterday, we went to my mum's cousins wedding. It was a really nice day, everyone looked amazing, the venue was really pretty, the food was amazing and everyone had a really good time. It was nice to have a catch up with family that I hadn't seen since I was about 6 and some that hadn't seen me since I was born!
Today I am planning to treat myself to a few bits that I have been wanting for a while. I am hopefully going to get a new camera, a new Ted Baker bag for going back to school, some new shoes, some new clothes for the cooler months and just a few bits and bobs that take my fancy!
I hope you have all had a lovely week and good luck to any of you that are going back to school this week, you'll be fine!

Review | NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils ❤
Left: Yoghurt Right: Milk
As you know from my huge holiday beauty haul, I found a NYX stand tucked away in the back of the Next store in Bridgewater and I picked up a few things to try, 2 of them being the Jumbo Eye Pencils in the shades Milk and Yoghurt.
Yoghurt is a peachy pink champagne sort of colour and is perfect for just a wash of colour over the lids or to use as a base for other shadows. Milk is a matte white shade that is perfect for highlighting or using as a base for other eyeshadows to help them last and appear more vibrant. I have used both of these shades quite a lot since I got them and I definitely think these are staple shades if you are looking into trying the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils.
The formula of these is amazing! They are incredibly pigmented, these swatches were only one swipe. They are very creamy and go on smoothly, but not too creamy so they don't crease. I have really oily eyelids and they didn't even crease on me. They are so easy to blend and you can either sheer them out or build them up.
The price of these are incredible as well, £5 each! They last a really long time as well because you can keep sharpening them whenever they get blunt and you can get every last bit of product out. I think they are definitely worth it and I would recommend this to anyone who is after a good cream shadow where they don't have to stick their fingers in a pot, which can be quite messy, especially if you have long nails!
Let me know if you have tried the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils and what are your thoughts?

We are another week closer to that dreaded day..........4th September. I really don't want to go back to school, I have been enjoying the holidays so much! I have loved going to work and feeling all grown up and having the freedom to do whatever pleased me!
This week I have been at my caravan (again!). We have wandered round a few shops at various locations, had a few rides at the fun fair, had some lovely walks down the beach and really just chilled out. As much as I have enjoyed this week, I am really looking forward to going back to work for the last week of the holidays next week.
Today will just be spent pre-writing this weeks posts as I won't be able to do a lot this week because I will be working for most of it, and I may go shopping because my auntie is getting married on Saturday and I still have nothing to wear! I also need to get some nude heels to wear to work this week, as I bought a white lace body con skirt in the new look sale and my black shoes just don't look right with it!
Tonight we are going out with some friends to watch a Michael Jackson tribute in the little pub near to our site so hopefully we will have some fun!
Look out for some more back to school related posts this week!
I hope you have all had a lovely week, let me know what you have been up to!

The Top 10 Tag ❤
I have seen this tag floating around my bloglovin' feed a bit recently and I haven't done a tag in quite a while so I thought, why not?!
This tag basically consists of a list of 10 categories and you have to pick your top product from each category and justify why!
1. Foundation
At the moment, my top foundation has to be the Mac Studio Fix Fluid. This foundation is probably the best I have ever used! The coverage is amazing, the finish is perfect, it lasts all day and makes my skin look like its naturally flawless. It is definitely one that will be repurchased!
2. Powder
At the moment, my top foundation has to be the Mac Studio Fix Fluid. This foundation is probably the best I have ever used! The coverage is amazing, the finish is perfect, it lasts all day and makes my skin look like its naturally flawless. It is definitely one that will be repurchased!
2. Powder
My favourite powder would definitely have to be the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I love how it sets my base, keeps shine at bay and completely blurs any pores or imperfections and makes my skin look absolutely flawless. It works amazingly with my Studio Fix Fluid as well!
3. Concealer
3. Concealer
Obviously my favourite concealer is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I have raved about this so much, you're probably sick of hearing about it! The coverage is amazing, the finish is amazing, the lasting power is amazing, it is just all round amazing!!
4. Blush
This was a hard one for me because I have been trying so many blushes recently, but one I always go back to is the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in the shade cherub. It looks so natural and pretty on the cheeks, giving you a gorgeous radiant glow! You can also use this on your lips and because it is a stain, it lasts all day!
5. Bronzer
This was an easy one, it is Nars Laguna by far! This is the perfect shade for my ghostly complexion, it blends seamlessly and has just the right amount of pigmentation so it is easy to wear for a subtle bronze glow or can be built up for a strong contour. The only downside is the price!
6. Highlighter
I would definitely have to say Mac's Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle. This the perfect shade for my skin tone, it isn't to glittery and you don't end up looking like a disco ball if you wear to much. It gives you a nice rose gold glow!
7. Mascara
If you have been reading my blog for a while, then you will know that the Rimmel Lash Accelerator is my favourite mascara. If not, the Rimmel Lash Accelerator is my favourite mascara! It gives the perfect balance of volume and length, can be layered without a clump in sight and encourages my lashes to grow. My lashes have been in amazing condition since I started using this mascara. It will definitely be repurchased!
8. Eye Shadow
My favourite eyeshadows are the MUA Undressed and Undress Me Too palettes. The colours are amazing, the quality is similar to a lot of higher end shadows that I have tried and they are only £4 each. I think they are a great staple in any makeup collection.
9. Brows
I actually don't do anything with my brows, except pluck them because I have a full fringe so no one sees them and they are fine as they are anyway. When I had my makeup done at Benefit, the lady used the Gimme Brow on me which I actually really liked but I couldn't justify spending £17.50 on something that was rarely going to be used.
10. Lip Product
6. Highlighter
I would definitely have to say Mac's Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle. This the perfect shade for my skin tone, it isn't to glittery and you don't end up looking like a disco ball if you wear to much. It gives you a nice rose gold glow!
7. Mascara

When I had my makeup done at Benefit, the lady used the Gimme Brow on me which I actually really liked but I couldn't justify spending £17.50 on something that was rarely going to be used.
10. Lip Product
I want to say Mac Peach Blossom, but there is a new kid on the block in the form of the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in the shade 'boy'. It is my new favourite nude and is slightly darker than peach blossom so is better for the colder months. These also act like a lip balm so they give your lips nourishment as well as making them look amazing!
I tag you all to do this tag, let me know if you do it so I can have a look!

Holiday Beauty Haul / Mini Reviews #2
Over the holidays, I have done one hell of a lot of shopping and bought one hell of a lot of makeup! So many new things have been released that I am desperate to try and there have been a lot of things that I have wanted to try for a long time that I have finally got around to purchasing!
As a beauty blogger, I have always wanted to own the Urban Decay Naked Palettes which are pretty much a staple product in the beauty community. I discovered that the MUA Undressed and Undress Me Too Palettes are pretty much exact dupes for the naked palettes! I have a full review of the Undressed Palette here where I show comparisons between these and the naked palettes if you are interested. These are my new favourite eyeshadows and I have not used anything different since I got them.
The Maybelline Baby Lips are probably the most raved about lip balms in the beauty industry and when I saw that the Electro Baby Lips had launched in the UK, I had to pick up 2 to see how they compared to the original baby lips. I picked up strike a rose, a neon coral, and berry bomb, a neon purple. These are exactly the same as the original baby lips in terms of formula, very sheer and moisturising except the electro ones are not flavoured/scented like the original collection. I really like these and I have used them a lot since I got them. Although the colours are neon and bright, I find them very was to wear, especially the purple one because it goes on a very sheer very shade, almost like if Mac's Rebel was a lip balm. I think it would be perfect for Autumn/Winter time.
The L'oreal True Match Foundation is a very controversial foundation with a lot of mixed reviews. I have heard a lot of people rave about it and a lot of people hate it. I decided to pick it up and see how I felt about it. I did a first impressions post on it here if you are interested. I am still a little unsure on whether I like it, I think I need to use it a little bit more and get used to it because it is very different from any other foundation that I have ever used. The wear time is good, the coverage is good, the finish is amazing, I just don't like how it emphasises pores, dry patches and blemishes and I think it is probably better suited to someone with naturally good skin, however I will carry on using it and I may feel differently about it once I am used to it.
The Mac Studio Fix Fluid is said to be one of the best foundations for people with oily and blemished skin, and I have to say that all the hype surrounding this is definitely true! When I went to the Mac shop, they gave me the shade NW15 which was way to dark and looked absolutely awful. I went back and switched it for NW10 and this is the perfect shade for me. I absolutely love this foundation, it goes on so nicely, makes my face look absolutely flawless, doesn't oxidise too much and the lasting power is unlike any other foundation I have ever used before. This is definitely going to get a lot of use, will definitely be repurchased and could possibly be given holy grail status before too long!
Whilst on holiday, my parents wanted to get something from argos and the nearest one to where we were was bridgewater. It just so happened that next door to argos was a next and I just happened to pop in there for a little mooch around when I spotted something quite exciting.......a huge nyx cosmetics stand! I would have got a lot more but I thought it would be better if I tried a few things firs to see how I liked them before I went the whole hog and bought one of everything! It was quite reasonably priced, slightly more than drugstore but nothing compared to the prices of having it shipped. Their Jumbo Eye Pencils are very popular so I picked up the shade 'milk' which is probably the most popular shade, it is just a simple white which can be used as a highlight or a base for other shadows to make them appear more vibrant, and 'yoghurt' which is a very pretty pinky champagne colour which could be swept over the lid and blended for a natural look or can be used with a matte brown through the crease and a darker colour in the outer corner. I am planning to do a full review on these soon! I also picked up a Powder Blush in the shade 'peach' which is a pretty light pink shade. I already have one of their powder blushes so I knew I was going to like this!
The last product is probably the one that I am most excited about (this is my instagram photo, which is why it has a valencia filter on it! My Instagram is here, go and give me a follow!) . The Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in the shade 'Boy' has been on my wish list for what seems like forever and I finally splurged and got it! It is the perfect nude for me and I am in love with it, but I'm scared to use it because when it runs out, there is no way I can afford to repurchase! If you are willing to spend £25 on a lipstick, these are definitely the way to go. They give a sheer wash of colour so are perfect to wear everyday and they also keep your lips hydrated all day long!
We have reached the end of this mammoth post! As you can probably tell, my August Favourites post is going to be jam packed because I have discovered so many new products that I absolutely love!

Everyone went mental when the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer's were released a couple of months ago and they sold out immediately. I have been hunting for them for ages and I finally found them! I got the shades serene, a light pink shade, criminal, a neon pink shade and reckless, a true red. I am still not sure what I think of these. The pigmentation is amazing and the formula seems good, however, I don't think matte bright lips really look good on me because I am so pale and I think they are a bit too much. Another thing I noticed that I'm not to sure about, is how they wear off on the inside of your lips and they flake if you rub your lips together. I will try these some more and try and stick with them and let you know my final verdict.
Mascaras that claim to make your lashes grow definitely appeal to me. Seeing as I loved the rimmel lash accelerator, I thought I would try the Revlon Lash Potion as I hadn't really heard much about it and I was intrigued to see how the 2 compared as there is about £3 different in the price. This is waterproof, which is good but it is such a pain to get off! I literally had to scrub with micellar water for about 10 minutes before I had got the worst of it off! As for the application, I found it was one of those mascaras that takes quite a lot of hard work and time to apply. It is a tad on the clumpy side and I had to keep going over it to try and lengthen and de-clump my eyelashes. I have stopped bothering with using it on my bottom lashes because the wand is way too big and it just makes a huge mess. I think I need to play around with this a bit more!

Back To School Makeup ❤
Well, it's nearly that time again! Time to say goodbye to waking up at 3pm and get back to early mornings and colder weather. I absolutely hate going back to school, so I thought I would create a makeup look specifically for going back to school to make it not seem so bad! This look is perfect for those of you who aren't allowed to wear makeup to school or don't really have a lot of time in the mornings, this is quick and simple using very few products. I have tried my best to keep it all drugstore because I know those of you still at school don't really have a large budget and like makeup to be cheap and cheerful!
Seeing as you want your makeup to stay on throughout the school day, priming is essential. My favourite primer is Benefit's Porefessional as I have mahoosive pores and this helps to fill them in and smooth my skin out. If you are looking for a more affordable option, the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser or the L'oreal Nude Magique Blur Cream are good drugstore dupes.
For a base, you want something that is going to correct and even out your skin tone, as well as looking natural and non cakey. I opted for the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream as it gives amazing coverage and still looks like skin and remains undetectable, no matter how much you pile on.
To cover up those pesky dark circles from all those late nights, I use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as it is cheap as chips and is amazing quality. It gives amazing coverage and stays around all day.
To set my makeup and stop everything sliding off my face (not literally, but you catch my drift), I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I love how this blurs my skin, masking any imperfections and keeps shine at bay all day!
To make myself look like I had been away on a fancy holiday, I used my Nars Laguna Bronzer to give myself a bronze glow. The Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer is a good cheaper option as I know that not many people want to spend £27 on a bronzer!
To add a little colour back into my cheeks and liven up my face, I used my new favourite blush which is the Nyx Powder Blush in the shade 'peach' which is a natural peachy pink shade.
Now onto eyes, I used my Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in the shade milk to cancel out any discolouration on my eyelids and act as a primer. I also put this on my inner corner to brighten up my eyes and make me look more awake.
Obviously, not a lot of people can wear eyeshadow to school or haven't got time for it, so I just took a flesh toned shadow from my MUA Undress Me Too Palette to cover up any veins or redness on my eyelids.
For eyeliner, I used 2 Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liners. I used the shade 'black' to tight line so that my eyelashes looked thicker without bothering with liquid liner. I also took the shade nude in my waterline to cancel out redness and make my eyes look bigger and more awake.
To complete the eyes, I used a slick of mascara just to open up my eyes and make me look a little less dead! I used the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara, this is not the best mascara in the entire world but it does the job!
To finish it off, you could add a tinted lip balm or a sheer lipstick or gloss. Some of my favourites are the Maybelline Baby Lips as they add a sheer pop of colour and are really moisturising!
I hope this has helped some of you who can't wear makeup to school or don't have a lot of time, and if you recreate this look, be sure to tweet it to me or tag me in your instagram. All my social media is linked on the social media page at the top of my blog, so be sure to follow me on twitter and Instagram and like my Facebook page!

First Impressions | L'oreal True Match Foundation ❤
I have been dying to try this foundation for so long but never really wanted to spend £10 on it because that is a little pricier for drugstore and it has so many mixed reviews. A lot of people had said that it was amazing for oily skin and a lot of people said that people with oily skin should steer well clear of it. I managed to find it for £5 at my local market so I jumped at the chance to try it for half the price!
L'oreal's description of the product; 'perfectly matches the colour and texture of your skin. Improves the appearance of skin quality and is super blend able. Micro mineral pigments perfectly match your skin tone. In 2 weeks, skin feels smoother, looks healthier and more even. The appearance of skin quality is improved. A beautiful flawless-looking complexion... your skin only better'
It has quite a runny consistency and seems like it would offer quite a light coverage. I tried blending it in with my real techniques expert face brush which just smeared it all over my face. I think this is because it is too dense and I needed something lighter. I then tried with my miracle complexion sponge and this worked so much better. When I apply foundation, I put blobs all over my face and then blend it in. With this, I found that by the time I had done one part of my face, the other blob had started to set and were quite difficult to blend in.
As for the finish of the foundation, it is a satin finish, not too matte and not too dewy. I found that this foundation accentuated pores even though I had already used the porefessional and I found it didn't sit quite right on them. After it had settled into the skin, it didn't look too bad and once set with a powder it looked absolutely fine. I got mine in the shade R1-C1 which is the lightest and it matched me perfectly, however I found that after a few hours it had oxidised and was at least 1 shade darker than before. I did look a tiny bit orange but it wasn't too bad, I've seen worse!
As for lasting power, I had it on for about 7 hours when I checked it, and apart from the oxidation and a little bit of shine on my nose, it still looked pretty good! It had creased slightly where I get laugh lines but it was nothing that a slight touch up of powder couldn't fix.
Overall, I think this is a good foundation and I will definitely continue to use it. I think it takes a lot of getting used to because it is unlike any other foundation I have used so I will probably learn a few tips and tricks on the best way to apply it and I will grow to like it a bit more. I recommend this for all skin types, although oily skinned people could probably use a touch of powder just down the t-zone and it will be absolutely fine!
What are your views on this foundation?

Review | MUA Undressed Palette - Naked Palette Dupe? ❤
Like pretty much all beauty bloggers/vloggers, I am obsessed with the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I received the Naked 3 Palette for Christmas and I had planned to buy the original naked palette with my earnings.......that was until I stumbled across this bad boy in Superdrug last week!
I had heard a lot of people rave about the MUA eyeshadow palettes, and when I saw that it was only £4, I couldn't leave it behind. The colours are highly pigmented and the formula of these shadows is on point. They are very creamy, buttery, long-lasting and they are easy to apply without too much fallout.
It wasn't until I got it home and looked at the palette properly, that I realised that it was pretty much an exact dupe for the original naked palette! I did a bit of research and came across many comparisons like the one pictured above and also discovered that the undress me too palette is a dupe for the naked 2! I have yet to pick this one up but I can assure you it will be going straight into my basket on my next trip to superdrug!
I am so glad that I discovered this palette. I can create all the looks that I could have created with the naked palette for just a fraction of the price! The only problem I do have with this palette is that the brush is pretty poor and there isn't a mirror, but for £4 as opposed to £37, I am willing to overlook this!
I definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to try the naked palettes but can't really afford to pay £37 for an eyeshadow palette. You can recreate looks where the naked palette has been used and no one would know the difference! This is definitely my new favourite eyeshadow palette!

The Sunday Edit #13
I'd like to first start by apologising for my absence this past week. I have been so busy!!
I have been working for Oval Insurance Brokers every day this week for 9 hours so I haven't had much time to myself to post and we are also having our kitchen re-done and the electric got cut off so it is mayhem here at the moment!
I am off work this week because we are in Brean for the week and we may pop down to Devon to stay for a few days depending on the weather.
I have done a lot of holiday shopping with my earnings and have bought a few things that I have been wanting for ages so look out for lots of hauls and reviews soon!
I have had such an amazing week, I absolutely love working in the office! Everyone there is so lovely and I have made so many good friends. I love being able to dress up and look smart and be able to leave the office whenever I want and do whatever I want. I love the freedom! I have enjoyed it so much that after my holiday, I am going back for another week!
I hope you have all had a lovely week!

What To Do When You Breakout ❤
Breakouts are caused by a number of different things. They can be caused by stress, hormones, bacteria, diet and what is going on inside your body. In this post, I will be giving you some tips and tricks on what to do when you breakout and hopefully I can help you!
Hygiene
Germs are one of the main causes of breakouts. Be sure to keep your face clean and wash anything that my come into contact with it such as:
- Makeup Brushes. I have posts on cleaning brushes here and spot cleaning here.
- Flannels, Face Cloths and Towels
- Pillowcases and Bedding
- Hands
- Hair
- Phones
By doing this, you are minimising the amount of bacteria that touches your skin and you can help prevent breakouts or stop them from getting worse and allow them to heal.
Diet
There are a number of foods and drinks that can help or hurt your skin. I found a list here of all the best and worst foods for your skin. Breakouts cause by diet can easily be cleared by eating the right foods and avoiding any that break you out. The best foods are greens, foods that are high in fibre, pie fruit, avocados and drinking lots of water. The worst are Dairy, fatty and oily foods, gluten and soy and sugar and caffeine so be sure to avoid these.
Products
If you are breaking out because of a product, discontinue use immediately as this is not the product for you. If you are breaking out, now is not the time to try new products because you don't know how your skin will react to them. Stick to the products that you know work best for your skin and stay away from anything harsh that could irritate or strip your skin too much as this will just make everything worse. Be sure to remove all makeup thoroughly and make sure you cleanse and use a mask that will unclog your pores and clarify your skin. Using antiseptics or antibacterial products is also a good idea, products with tea tree, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide are amazing for breakouts and will help to clear them in no time!
Stress
If you are breaking out because of stress, try your best to keep calm and relax. Doing things like yoga, having a bath, reading, candles, oils and anything that you enjoy doing can really help with this. If something is bothering you, try talking to someone or doing something about it rather that bottling it all up and getting stressed out.
I hope this has helped anyone that is battling acne. Doing the research for this post has really helped me and has really made me think about how certain things I do or eat can really damage my skin!

The Sunday Edit #12
Can you believe we are already half way through the school holidays? I know I can't, its going to be over before we know it.
This week I have been at my caravan. The weather has been quite nice up until the weekend and it has literally poured down non stop! We have enjoyed some nice walks down the beach at night time with my nan and her dog and have done a little bit of shopping (Holiday Haul coming soon). The weather was so bad today that we came home early!
Today I am getting everything ready for this week because as I mentioned last week, I am going back to the office where I did my work experience for another weeks work which I am really looking forward to!
I bought the Mac Studio Fix fluid this week which I was really excited about but didn't realise until i got home that they had given me the wrong shade and it was about 5 shades darker than my skin tone so I have to try and see if they'll swap it in my lunch hour this week. Hopefully it will be worth all the fuss!
Thats it really, I haven't done anything too interesting to write about! I hope you have all had a lovely week, let me know what you've been up to!

Blogging Tips and Tricks - My Guide To Starting A Blog ❤
I thought I'd post something slightly different to the usual beauty ramblings today and post something more blogging related. When I started blogging, I hadn't really read any other blogs and I didn't really know what I was doing, I just sort of went with it. Now I have been blogging for almost 7 months, I know a lot more about blogging and the blogging community in general. This post will give you some tips and tricks on how you can start a blog and hopefully give you an incite into life as a blogger.
Creating Your Blog
Blogger is, in my opinion, the easiest way to run a blog. Just click 'new blog' on the home screen and you're away! Blogger helps you design your blog and make it personal and it is also easy to make changes along the way. Think of a name, theme and topic for your blog so that you can make it personal to you and relative to your chosen topic. My blog is all about my little world so I have made the design personal to me and I write about the things that I love. My blog is my escapism and allows me to be creative and write about things I am passionate about, like beauty. Blogger is run by google so you can just sign in with your gmail account and you can be updated on your blogs progress through the app on your phone. You will be notified when you have comments, when people have shared your posts and you can also see how many people have viewed your blog and where they are from in the world using Google Analytics.
Writing Posts
When it comes to writing posts, make sure they are relative to your topic and they are of the best quality. Don't put up a post that your not completely happy with just for the sake of posting. Your followers would rather have 1 really good post every so often than have average posts every day. Blogging is supposed to be fun so don't feel pressured to post all the time, and if you ever feel like it is becoming a chore, you know it is not for you and you should take a break. Try to make your posts as unique as possible because no one wants to be reading the same thing on everyone else's blog, make yours stand out from the rest. It is ok to take inspiration from other bloggers, but don't copy them and don't try to be someone you're not. Make sure your personality comes across in your posts to make them personal and unique. Be sure to use relevant pictures in your posts and make them look as aesthetically pleasing as possible, in other words, make it look nice and catch peoples eye! You don't have to have a fancy DSLR camera, you can use a cheap one or even the one on your phone! As long as you have good lighting and a lot of thought has gone into the layout of the things in the photo, anyone can take a good picture. I have a whole post on photography here if you are interested in learning more about it.
Ways to get your blog noticed
Social Media is very important to us bloggers. It enables us to advertise our blog, share about new posts, interact with our readers and get to know so many new people with the same interests as us. This is one of the most important factors in most blogger's success. Add your blog link to your instagram and twitter bio so everyone can take a peek! Also, creating a bloglovin account and claiming your blog on their is a great way for people to follow your blog, like your posts and you can also follow your favourite blogs and like their posts. It is almost like a Facebook feed with all the posts from your favourite bloggers. I love that you can download the app on any device and catch up on your favourite posts wherever you are. You can log in with Facebook and create an account. Then all you do is click claim blog, type in your blogs address, copy and paste the code they give you into a new post and then press ok! You can also keep up to date with your stats!
I hope this post has helped some of you newbie bloggers and if you have just started blogging, leave me a link and I will be sure to stop by and have a look. If you would like to see a Blogger 101 post where I tell you everything there is to know about blogger and how to use it, let me know! I might start a series on each aspect of blogging, e.g. pages, posts, design, links, pictures etc. If there is anything you would like to see or see more of around these parts, be sure to let me know and I will see what I can do!

The Lip Care Low Down ❤
I have just spent 5 days by the sea and the sea air has dried my skin out badly, especially my lips so I thought I would share with you the products that I have been using to get my lips back in tip top condition!
The key to flake free lips is a good old scrub. The Lush Lipscrubs are probably the most well known lip scrubs in the beauty world and my personal favourite is the popcorn one. All you do is rub it on your lips, give them a good scrub and then lick it off to leave you with soft, supple and non-flaky lips!
If my lips are in a particularly bad way, I follow up with one of the Nivea Lip Butters. My favourite is the Raspberry Rosé one, it tastes and smells amazing. They are very rich and moisturising and are perfect for lips that are in desperate need of some TLC.
As mentioned before, I am retrying the Avon Royal Jelly Lip Treatment. This isn't as rich as the nivea lip butters but is rich enough to give your lips the nourishment they need. I really like this and it isn't too expensive.
If you want a lip balm and a lip colour all in one, the Maybelline Baby Lips are for you. They give amazing nourishment with a subtle pop of colour. Pictured are the clear one which is called hydrate and cherry me and I also have pink punch, peach kiss and the electro balms in strike a rose and berry bomb! I absolutely love these and they are only £2.99 each or 3 for 2!
I hope this has helped anyone that suffers with dry and flaky lips like me and let me know what your lip saviours are!

My Top 5: Blushes ❤
I have never really been that into blush until recently and now I can't get enough of it! I think a little flush of colour on the cheeks makes you look healthier and just pulls the look together. I have compiled a list of my favourites, narrowing them down to 5 took some work but I managed it!
You have heard me rave about the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush - Cherub countless amounts of times but here I am again, doing just that! This is by far the best blush I have ever used and I will repurchase this over and over again! I have full review of it here if you are interested in learning a bit more about this weird and wonderful product!
Everyone has been hyped up about cream blushes lately and the MUA Cream Blush - Dolly doesn't disappoint. For £2, this is an amazing product. It is easy to apply, blends effortlessly and looks amazing. It leaves a soft, dewy finish and really makes you look healthy and glowy. Their powder blushes don't fail to impress. The shade Lolly is a very natural colour and would suit anyone.
Sleek blushes have been increasingly popular over the last year or so and the most popular shade is Rose Gold. It is a gorgeous rosy colour with a gold sheen running through it. It makes you look very bronzed, healthy and slightly sun kissed.
Nyx are very well known for their high quality blushes and pretty much every beauty blogger/vlogger owns at least one of these! I have the shade Desert Rose which is the exact same colour as I naturally blush. These are highly pigmented so I advise you to use a light hand but for less than £10, they are easily comparable to the likes of Mac and Benefit.
Those are my top 5 blushes, if there are any more top 5/10 posts you would like to see, let me know!

The Sunday Edit #11
I have been very productive this week and have sorted out my room, got rid of all the junk that was lying around and tidied it up. I also added this little table to put my nail polish rack on and some flowers so that I have more space on my dressing table for makeup and other bits and bobs.
On Thursday, I travelled to my Nan and Grandad's caravan in Devon and I am staying here until Tuesday. On Friday, we drove to Totnes and took the train to Plymouth and I think its safe to say, we did some damage! Although it poured down, Plymouth was such a nice place and the shops are amazing! I bought so much, I think I may do a holiday haul some time next week. Yesterday we went to Torquay and Paignton where I picked up a few more bits and bobs and I have really enjoyed it! On Tuesday we are going back to my caravan for the rest of the week.
I also got a message to say that I can go back to work next week at the office where I did my work experience which I am really looking forward and it is an excuse to do some more shopping!
The miserable weather in Plymouth!
I hope you have all had a lovely week and let me know if you have been up to anything interesting!
