Products I'm Trying Out #2 ❤

There have been a lot of products that I have had my eye on recently and I have finally given in and gone shopping and acquired a few new things to try.

After hearing a ridiculous amount of people raving about these, I finally caved in and bought the Barry m Gelly Polishes.  I have the colours dragon, papaya, rose hip and pomegranate and I have been using them for a few weeks now and I think they are amazing so far!

I haven't heard a lot about the L'oreal Lumi Magique Foundation but I am really loving dewy skin at the moment so I thought this would be good to try.  I have the lightest shade which is a tad too dark for me because I'm ridiculously pale but I can blend it down my neck and hope for the best!

I have heard a few people talk about the Rimmel Lash Accelerator and I have really short eyelashes and this claims to encourage growth so I was all up for a bit of that!

The last makeup product is the Revlon Shadow Links, I got 3 because they were on 3 for 2 in the shades taupe, sand and petal.  I have only read one review on these and it didn't sound good so I'll give them a whirl and see how it goes!

Onto skincare,  after running out of my L'oreal micellar solution, I thought I would try the Garnier Micellar Water as you get more for your money and it's cheaper! I thought I would do a little comparison of the two and see which one I prefer.

The last thing is the Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Cleanser which I saw in Boots and when I realised it was a cleanser that smelt like peaches, I was sold!  I was disappointed with my L'oreal cleansing milk so I thought I'd give this one a go!

The sponge that changed my life! ❤

This sponge is seriously the best thing that has happened to me on the foundation application front.  The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge is apparently a dupe for the famous Beauty Blender, which I was dying to try but reluctant to spend £16 on something that really is just a sponge.

This sponge applies foundation absolutely flawlessly and is so easy to use. I use the flat sponge for applying foundation, sort of bouncing it onto the skin and I use the pointy end for blending in concealer under my eyes, around my nose and on any blemishes.  I have learnt to love foundations that I originally hated but applied so nicely with this sponge, they went straight up in my estimations!

You can use it wet or dry, I prefer dry for fuller, more precise coverage and damp for a more natural, lighter look.  It makes foundations so versatile as you can choose exactly how you want it to look.  It cleans well, though it does stain so it doesn't look clean.  I tend to use shampoo to wash it as Nic Chapman had recommended and it works a treat!

For £5.99, this is an absolute bargain and I think this is definitely a must have beauty tool!  I will definitely repurchase this and I don't think I will bother with the beauty blender now.

What do you think of this sponge? Do you have any tips and tricks on how to use it?

Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush Review ❤

I had heard essiebutton talk about the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in her favourites video and they just seemed so unique and different I had to buy one!

The bottles are quite small, you only get 15ml for £14.50 but it will last ages because you only need the tiniest little drop.

I got mine in the shade 'cherub' which is like a baby pink shade with shimmer that gives you a nice dewy glow.  They are literally like coloured water, they are so strange! They look a lot more natural than a powder blush and they look stunning.

At first, I found it quite difficult to apply and it looked patchy and strange.  Eventually, I found that putting a drop directly onto my cheeks and buffing it in with my Mac 187 stippling brush was the easiest and looked the best!  These blushes are perfect all year round because you can wear them on their own to give a dewy glow or you can powder them with a translucent powder to make them matte.  They are also like a stain so they stay on all day and you can also use them on your lips.

Overall, I think this is by far the best blush I have ever used and it is definitely worth the money.  I think this is definitely something that I would repurchase and I hope to get some other colours in the future!

What do you think of these blushes?

The Procrastinating Blogger Tag ❤

I am the queen of procrastination and when I saw this tag I knew I had to do it! I believe this tag was created by The Beau Bow!

Name a beauty regime that you very rarely do.
I am really bad at moisturising my body.  I'm extremely lazy and it just takes too long to put it on and wait for it to sink in, ain't nobody got time for dat!

Do you wash your brushes regularly?
I do! I can't stand dirty brushes and I just don't feel they do their job as well as they do when they are clean.  I deep clean once every week or so and I spot clean every couple of days!

How long will you last with chipped polish?
Not very long, it bugs the hell out of me! I can normally last about 1-2 days then it has to come off and be redone!

How long will you put off buying/replacing polish, even if you need it?
I have a huge amount of nail polish so I very rarely run out or need any more so I would put it off as long as possible.

What is your worst beauty habit?
Probably biting off false/acrylic nails! I just can't help myself!

Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time.
Definitely homework and revise, I will put off doing it as long as I possibly can, normally the night before its due in or before a test!

When going somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute or not?
Not! I don't like rushing, I like to be able to take my time when getting ready so I will leave plenty of time to do everything without having to rush because thats when things start to go wrong e.g. winged liner.

Can you commit to spending bans?
I have never tried this, but I think I would be ok with it because I am quite good at saving my money and I'm quite tight!

How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
My nail polish is neatly stored, I have all my high-end and most used ones on my rack and all my low-end rarely used ones are neatly stood up in a drawer.  My makeup on the other hand is all over my desk! I have just come back from a weekend away and haven't yet had time to unpack it all, but it's usually pretty organised.

What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blogpost?
I think it's around 5 days because I was in hospital with suspected appendicitis and I was quite poorly, plus I was revising for 9 exams so I literally had no spare time, and I felt awful!

I tag you all to do this and link your posts below!

Disappointing Products #1 ❤

I am always talking about the products I love and very rarely talk about the ones I hate, so here are a few of the products I would steer well clear of!

The first product is Mac's satin lipstick in the shade 'Snob'.  So many people love this lipstick and it's one of Mac's most popular shades.  I regret not trying it on in the shop, I wasted £15 because it just looks awful.  It's such a hard shade to wear if you are pale and it looks horrible.  It really dries out your lips and looks patchy.  I definitely don't recommend this to anyone with lighter skin as it will wash you out and make you look gross!

The next product is the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation.  I bought this on a whim and definitely regret it!  The packaging is a pain to use as it doesn't have a pump and you have to pour it out which is messy and can mean a lot of product is wasted because you can't really control how much comes out.  It goes on streaky and doesn't blend very well and looks cakey.  I also find that after a few hours, it creases really badly and starts to break up, making my pores look huge and making my skin look hideous.  The coverage isn't brilliant and it's quite drying on the skin.

The last makeup product is the Benefit Boi-ing concealer.  So many people said this concealer was amazing but I was very disappointed.  It's very thick and creases really badly and looks really cakey.  It makes blemishes stand out even more and doesn't cover them that well.  I had high expectations for this concealer and it really let me down!

Onto skincare, the first product is the Simple soothing toner.  This broke me out and made my skin really red and blotchy.  I don't have overly sensitive skin so this came as shock, especially since simple products are supposed to be suitable for people with sensitive skin.  I used it twice and immediately stopped using it.

The last thing is the L'oreal Skin Perfection Cleansing and Perfecting milk.  I bought this because I was after a gentle cleanser and this was the only one I could find that didn't have alcohol in.  It broke me out and didn't do my skin any favours.  I am a big fan of their skin perfection line, but I feel the cleanser wasn't up to scratch.

Which products have disappointed you?

Wednesday Wishlist #1 - The Drugstore Edit ❤

Welcome to Wishlist Wednesday! This weeks wish list is my Drugstore Wishlist, and with all the new releases, there is quite a lot I am desperate to get my hands on!!

After hearing numerous rave reviews and wanting to have a glowy complexion for Spring, I have decided that I need the L'oreal Lumi Magique Base in my life!

Everyone seems to have these and I think it's fair to say, the bandwagon passed me by this time!  I think I need to try the Revlon Colourburst Balm Stains to see what all the hype is about and there are some gorgeous shades that I just need to have!

When the Real Techniques Core Collection came out, it didn't really appeal to me, but after seeing numerous blogposts on these brushes and seeing them used in many Youtube videos, I have come to the conclusion that they aren't similar to any of the brushes I own and I would be able to use them for so many different things!

I have been wanting to try gel nails for so long, but the starter kits that I have seen in the likes of Argos are around £70 and it's a lot of money to waste if I end up not liking it!  I saw Chloe Morello and beautybaby44 use the Fuse Gelnamel Starter Kit and everyone has been raving about it and for £35, I think it would be a good place to start!

I absolutely love my MAC 187 stippling brush, but it is starting to look a bit shabby and has started to malt!  Mac brushes are a lot of money so I think the Real Techniques Stippling Brush would be a cheaper dupe!

I have quite short eyelashes, so finding a cheap mascara that will help me get a lot of length is quite difficult.  When I read that the Rimmel Lash Accelerator has a formula that encourages lashes to grow it went straight on my wishlist!

I have been hunting for a cheap foundation that is full coverage and will stay all day.  I had seen the Revlon Colorstay Foundation a few times and was sceptical because the majority of the foundations that claim to last all day never do!  I had seen a lot of people put this foundation to the test and a lot of bloggers and Youtubers have said this is their holy grail foundation so I am definitely willing to give it a try.
So many people have said that the Laroche-Posay Effaclar Duo + was a miracle worker and worked wonders for their skin so I am desperate to get my hands on it.  I have very oily, blemish prone skin and this seems like the perfect solution!
Last but not least, Revlon have just brought out their Colorstay Shadow Links and they look amazing! You could make so many different combinations, I plan to have a chain of neutrals and a chain of bright colours and for £2.99 each and 3 for 2, you can't go wrong!

What is on your drugstore wish list?

Photography Tips and Tricks ❤

I'm definitely no expert on photography, but after a blogger chat I had with the lovely Kimberley and Ana Cristina (you can find their blogs here and here) I picked up a few tips and tricks to share with you.

It doesn't matter what camera you have, as long as you have good lighting, anyone can take an amazing photo. I take my photos on my iPhone 4s.
Natural light is the best type of lighting for achieving great photos.  If the weather is nice, take photos outside or by a big window where plenty of light is coming through.  Lighting is key for photography,  it can make a really rubbish photo look great and professional!
If the weather is nice, try and take any photos you will need for any blogposts you have planned for that week in bulk.  That way, if the weather is rubbish and the lighting is poor on the day you plan on writing a post, it doesn't matter because you already have your pictures ready to go. Also, try not to over edit,  you want the product in the photograph to look as true to life as possible so your readers know exactly what they're getting.

As far as backgrounds go, the plainer the better.  You want the focus to be on the product you are blogging about, and you don't want the background to steal all the attention.  I normally go for a white, uncluttered background so the product stands out as much as possible.

You can find all the information about the forum and the chats on Kimberleys blog! Make sure you give both of them a follow!

The Blogger Made Me Do It Tag ❤

I have seen this tag done a few times by a few different blogs and so I thought I'd do it and prove to you how easily influenced I am!!

These are all of the products I have bought because a blogger recommended them and I haven't been disappointed with any of them, I love them all!!

The first thing is obviously the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette which most bloggers have and everyone raves about it!  I absolutely love this, it's by far my favourite palette!

The next thing is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which the world and it's mother have raved about and it's definitely worth it!  Since buying this, I don't think I could use another concealer, it is amazing!

The next thing is quite a recent purchase and its the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.  Lots of people had said that this was a good dupe for a beauty blender which I have been wanting for ages but was reluctant to spend £16 on a sponge!  This sponge is amazing, it blends my foundation in flawlessly, stops my foundation from caking and gives a natural finish. I can do all of my liquid face makeup with just one applicator! (Full review coming soon)

The next thing is the Maybelline Color Tattoos.  They are extremely popular and I had heard they were a good dupe for Mac Paint Pots which I absolutely love and for £4.99, you can't really go wrong!  I use this every day, either on its own when I'm feeling lazy or as a base for other shadows and they stay on all day!

Then there's the Garnier Micellar Water.  Micellar waters have taken the beauty world by storm and I think pretty much every beauty blogger owns one of these.  It takes my makeup off effortlessly and is gentle enough to use on my eyes! (Full review coming soon)

The last drugstore this is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. So many bloggers and Youtubers have raved about this and when I saw it used in tutorials, it just looked stunning and I had to buy it! I was definitely not disappointed and this is my all time favourite foundation!

There are 2 Mac lipsticks in the shades Creme Cup and Peach Blossom.  Creme cup has been a cult shades for a long time now and it's definitely a lipstick everyone needs in their collection.  Peach blossom has a shade that I hadn't heard off before, but recently Mac made it permanent and it has been in the majority of favourite videos/posts that I have seen recently.  After seeing swatches I had to buy it and I am in love!  It is really giving creme cup a run for its money and could possibly become my all time favourite lipstick!

Another cult Mac product is their Mineralize Skinfinish in the shade soft and gentle.  This is definitely my favourite highlight and I have used it every single day since I got it back in December!  It has just the right amount of shimmer without being too glittery and it gives your face a gorgeous, luminous glow!

Last but not least is the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in the shade Cherub.  I heard essiebutton, gemsmaquillage and georgiamarie raving about this and I was curious to try it as it's unlike anything I have ever seen before! (Full review coming soon)

What have bloggers made you buy? Have any of you bought any products that I have recommended? I'd love to know!

Friday Fashion Favourites #1 - Statement Necklaces ❤

Statement necklaces are something I have found myself reaching for a lot recently.  They just finish off an outfit and make a simple outfit look more put together and pretty.  There are some gorgeous ones in places like Primark, New Look, Topshop and Forever 21.

These are the two I have been wearing the most recently.

The one on the left is from Primark and I got it at the bargain price of £4!!  It is perfect for spring and makes a plain top look a lot more dressy.

The one on the right is a gold chain that I got from Peacocks for around £4.  You can wear it with pretty much anything and it will look amazing and it is good for all seasons!

What is your opinion on statement necklaces? Do you have any that you recommend?

Benefit B.right Skincare Set ❤

I got this Skincare Set last week when I got a makeover at the Benefit counter in Debenhams.  I have been waiting to try some of their skincare for a while and I thought this would be the best way to try a few of their products without having to splurge on the full sizes and end up not liking them.

The first product is the Total Moisture Face Cream.  I use this as a night time moisturiser.  I'm not a huge fan of this,  it's very thick and quite heavy and greasy.  I have combination skin and this made my face feel like an oil slick.  I think this would be better for someone with quite dry skin, and in the winter when my skins a little drier it might be good, but for now, I think I'll stick with my Body Shop Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream.

The next thing is the Foamingly Clean Facial Wash.  I really like this, it's not stripping like most of the other foaming cleansers I have tried.  It makes my face feel squeaky clean without feeling dry and tight and it really pulls the dirt out of my pores.  It leaves my skin feeling soft and I would definitely purchase the full size of this.

The next thing is the 'It's Potent!' Eye Cream.  I have tried this before and loved it.  It fades my dark circles really well and stops the skin around my eyes from getting dry and making my concealer look cakey.  I don't have to use as much concealer now as this gets rid of my dark circles really well and makes my eyes look and feel more awake.  I definitely recommend this to anyone that suffers with dark circles, fine lines or dry skin around their eyes.

The next thing is the Triple Performing Facial Emulsion.  I use this as my morning moisturiser before I put my makeup on.  I'm not sure how I feel about this, it didn't feel greasy but it took ages to sink in and even when I felt that it had sunk in enough,  my makeup just slid right off it and wouldn't blend in and it just made my face look horrendous.  I initially thought I had put too much on so I tried it the next day with a much smaller amount and the same thing happened again.  I have tried different primers and different foundations with it and the same thing happened so I might use this as my night time moisturiser because it's quite light and doesn't make my face greasy.

The next thing is the Refined Finish Facial Polish.  I really like this, my skin is quite sensitive so it's hard to find an exfoliated that is gentle enough so that it doesn't irritate it but harsh enough to do the job!  The beads in this are quite fine, almost like sugar and they aren't too scratchy and harsh.  It doesn't make my skin red or sore and doesn't make it dry or tight.  It gets right down in my pores and really just polishes my skin and makes it really clean.  The only bad thing is that it is really hard to get off and I had bits of scrub coming out of my pores for the rest of the night.  It just sticks to my face and really doesn't want to budge.  Overall this is a good product and I will continue to use this once a week.

The last thing is the Moisture Prep Toning Lotion.  This is not like your average toner, it's very thick, almost like a watery moisturiser and makes my skin feel velvety soft.  I use this after I cleanse and put a small amount onto a cotton pad and just sweep it over my skin.  It helps my moisturiser to sink in and makes my pores appear smaller, which is amazing because having oily skin means I have very noticeable pores.  It's quite soothing on my skin and gets rid of redness and makes it look plump and bright.

Overall this is a really good set,  I was disappointed with the moisturisers but I am really impressed with the other products and will continue to use them and possibly go on to purchase the full sizes.

What do you think of the benefit skincare range? I'd love to hear your opinions!

If you have any questions or requests, be sure to leave me a comment or tweet me and follow me on Instagram!!

What's in my handbag? - April 2014 ❤

My handbag is literally filled to the brim with rubbish and was in desperate need of a clear out and I needed an idea for a blog post, so I though I'd kill two birds with one stone and do a what's in my handbag!

After a good rummage and a big clear out session, these are now the contents of my handbag!

My handbag is a nudey/beige leather tote with studs and diamonds from c&a, I got it back in August when I went to Belgium.

In it I keep my purse which is from a little Bag shop in Minehead and I have the matching bag, but I'm sure you could find one quite similar in Cath Kidston if you cannot find this exact one.

Then I keep my iPad mini because I absolutely love it, it's so handy and it's the perfect size to keep in your handbag for on the go.

Then I normally have my phone and my headphones, I couldn't be without my phone, I love it!

Then I normally have some sort of food, today I had Cadbury's Crunchums! These are literally the best things I have ever tasted and I kid you not, I went in to Home Bargains on Monday and bought a basketful.....yes 10 packets, the lady at the till looked at me as if I was some sort of crazy woman!

I always have some chewing gum because I always get paranoid about bad breath and I just like to have something to chew!

Then I have my diary because I am extremely forgetful and if I don't write things down, I will forget about them completely.  The same with my notebook, if I have a blog post idea or something pops into my head, I have to write it down before I completely forget it and it bugs me!

I have sunglasses because I am prone to headaches from bright lights and with the unpredictable weather here in England, you never know if the sun is going to come out! (pfftt, fat chance, but I like to be prepared just in case!)

I have a little makeup bag where I normally keep the lipstick/gloss I was wearing that day for touchups (today was mac peach blossom with a dab of nars turkish delight over the top) and powder for touchups.  I also keep a mirror, travelo, a lip balm and a nail file because chipped and rough nails bug the hell out of me!!

Last but not least, I have my soap and glory hand maid for on the go sanitisation (that is a big word) and my hand food hand cream because I suffer with really dry hands and I literally can't bare it!!

Having a clean (ish) bag makes life so much easier, I can find whatever I'm looking for quickly without having to rifle through the plethora of receipts, crumbs, wrappers, bottles, packets, you name it, its in there!

Empties #1

Everything seems to be running at the moment, which is exciting because finishing products feels like an achievement and it means I have an excuse to go out and buy a ton of new things!

The first thing is the L'oreal 3-in-1 Purifying Micellar Solution which I really liked as it took my makeup off really well and helped to unclog my pores.  I have repurchased this and I am not far off of finishing that one either, so I think I will try the Garnier one next and try and do a comparison.

The next thing is the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream.  I tried this on a whim because it said it was for oily skin which immediately appealed to me.  I'm so glad I bought it though because it is absolutely amazing!  It has spf, stays all day, easily build able and can also be used under foundation to boost the coverage and longevity. I have repurchased this and use it under my Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation or on its own on lazy days!

The next thing is the Benefit Porefessional which is probably the most raved about primer in the beauty world! It definitely lives up to its hype and I have repurchased this and use it every single day without fail! It helps to control oil and makes my pores disappear completely under my foundation or bb cream.

The next thing is the Ren Gentle Cleansing Milk which was the best cleanser I had ever used.  It kept my skin clear and it was so gentle and didn't irritate my skin.  It helped to control oil and minimise my pores.  I haven't repurchased this because it is pretty pricey and I had a stack of other cleansers to try but none have matched up to this so far so I think I may be repurchasing this in the future.

Last but not least is the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer.  I really liked this for highlighting under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose and on my cupids bow.  It was quite thin and easy to blend although the coverage wasn't great. I haven't repurchased this because I am now loyal to my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as it is the best concealer I have ever used.

Products I'm trying out #1 ❤

I seem to have done one hell of a lot of shopping lately and I have acquired quite a few new products to put to the test!

I am trying out the Nars lipgloss in the shade Turkish Delight because I had heard a lot about these lip glosses but I had only heard one person speak about this particular shade and it looked like the perfect colour for Spring so I thought I'd give it a go.
I am trying out the Daniel Sandler watercolour blush in the shade Cherub because I think the world and it's mother are raving about these and it was unlike anything I had seen before, it's so unique and different, I was curious and had to try it!
I am trying out the Soap&Glory No Clogs Allowed Face Mask because I have heard a few people talking about this and when I was reading the description, it sounded like the answer to all my problems and it was on offer in boots, £11.50 reduced to £7.62 and it was on 3 for 2 so I couldn't resist!
I am trying out the MAC Brush Cleanser because I was looking for something to spot clean my brushes to save me having to go through the tedious deep cleaning process regularly.  I am the queen of procrastination and I'm extremely lazy so this seemed like the perfect solution!
The last thing I'm trying out is the Benefit 6 piece Skincare set as I had a makeover in benefit and really liked the look of some of the skincare products they used on me and this was the perfect way to really try them all out and decide which ones to get the full size of and for £14.50, it's a bit of a bargain because like all benefit minis, they are very good sizes!

There will hopefully be a full review coming on some of these products in the near future, and if you have any questions or requests, be sure to leave a comment or tweet me and follow me on Instagram!

Top 5 products under £5 ❤

Not everyone likes to splurge on beauty products, unlike us beauty bloggers who don't hesitate at spending around £20 on a lipstick, so I thought I'd do a post on my top 5 things that I couldn't live without that definitely won't break the bank!

The first thing is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, what a surprise!  This stuff is seriously amazing, the coverage is amazing and its the only concealer I have been able to find that is light enough to highlight under my eyes with my very pale skin and it lasts for ages!

The next thing is the Rimmel Stay Matte which is a product that definitely lives up to the hype!  It sets my foundation brilliantly and keeps me matte all day without looking cakey and blurs any imperfections.  This is something that I have repurchased time and time again and will continue to do so!

The next thing is the Maybelline Color Tattoos which are amazing! They come in so many different shades and they are extremely pigmented and stay on all day without creasing without the need for a primer or being set with other shadows. I have the shade on and on bronze but I definitely need to get some more!

The next thing is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Nude Eyeliner because this is the perfect way to brighten up your eyes and make them look bigger and more awake without the harshness of a white.  It's waterproof so it will stay in your waterline all day without fading or smudging.

Last but not least, we have the iconic Maybelline Baby Lips.  They are definitely worth the hype! They are so moisturising and feel nice on the lips and aren't sticky.  They also come in all different colours and formulas so everyone can find the perfect one for them!

I've been nominated for a Liebster Award!

I have been nominated for a Liebster Award by the lovely Chloe from Simple Beauty Chatter!

If you are unfamiliar with the Liebster Award, liebster is a German word meaning sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.  I have to answer the 11 questions given to me by the blogger that nominated me, write 11 random facts about myself, choose 11 bloggers with under 200 followers to pass this on to and give them 11 questions to answer in their post.  You also have to link back to the blogger that nominated you.

Chloe's questions
1) Why did you start your blog?
I started my blog because I absolutely love beauty and fashion and I didn't have the confidence to start a YouTube so I thought a blog would be the perfect way for me to meet new people with the same interests and have a new hobby.
2) If you could only use one brand of makeup for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I would probably say Mac because every product I have tried,  I have loved and it's not too expensive when you compare it to the likes of Chanel, Dior etc.
3) Who is your role model in life and why?
I've never really thought about it and I really don't know because there are so many inspirational people that I look up to, I don't think I could narrow it down to just one!
4) What would be your dream job?
As boring as it sounds, I've always wanted to be an accountant! I'd also like to be a teacher or a makeup artist!
5) If you could move anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to live in New York because it's an amazing city and I would love to be able to try out all the American makeup! I would also like to live in Australia because they have warm weather all year round and I'd love to get away from the constant rain in England!
6) What is the most recent beauty product you bought and do you like it?
The last beauty product I bought was the Soap&Glory No Clogs Allowed face mask.  I've only used it once, but so far so good and there will hopefully be a review coming soon!
7) What is your favourite clothes shop, which you always go to?
I would probably say Primark because it is reasonably priced and they have a lot of nice things for all sorts of occasions.  The only bad thing is you can't see a lot online and you can't order online.
8) If you could describe yourself in one word, what it be?
Little!
9) What is your guilty pleasure?
This is embarrassing...... but if I was being totally honest, I would have to say Downton Abbey.  I have never missed an episode and I have all of the series on DVD.
10) What do you want to achieve by the end of the year?
I would really like to have achieved some good GCSE results, preferably A*'s and I would like to have a somewhat successful blog and I would like to have built up enough confidence to start a YouTube!
11) Have you got a hidden talent?
Not really!

My Top 5 Mac Lipsticks ❤

Mac lipsticks are my weakness and I can't seem to stop myself from leaving Debenhams with a lipstick!

From left to right: peach blossom, coral bliss, creme cup, politely pink and plumful.
From top to bottom: plumful, politely pink, creme cup, coral bliss, peach blossom

In no particular order, my first favourite is Peach Blossom.  It's a very sheer, glossy peachy nude and looks great in the Spring.  It's very creamy and quite long wearing and I think it's one of the very few nudes I have found that doesn't wash me out and would look great on all skin tones. It is a creme sheen formula so it is very creamy and moisturising.

The next one is Coral Bliss.  It's a very sheer, wearable coral colour that is definitely suitable for spring and summer. You can sheer it right out to a slight wash of colour or build it up to a brighter coral.  I think this is a good lipstick for if you want to follow the trend of orange lips but aren't brave enough to sport a bright orange! It's definitely a more subtle shade of orange with a  hint of pink. It is a creme sheen formula so it is very creamy and moisturising.

Probably my all time favourite lipstick is Creme Cup.  It is probably one of the most famous Mac lipsticks and it's definitely my favourite.  It is the most gorgeous blue toned baby pink and is the perfect pastel pink shade for spring.  It doesn't wash me out and I think it would look good on everyone. Again, this is a creme sheen formula so it is very creamy and moisturising.

The next one was my very first Mac lipstick (as you can see, its seen better days) and it is Politely Pink.  It is quite a frosty nude and it's slightly golden.  It's a nice every day shade and looks good with  pretty much anything.  It also looks amazing with a nude gloss over the top.  This is a lustre finish so it is quite sheer and glossy but very build able.

The last one is Plumful.  It is a gorgeous berry shade that looks good all year round, not just in the colder months.  It is perfect for someone that wants to wear a dark lip but doesn't want anything too bold, just something dark but a little more subtle.  It looks good on all skin tones and in my opinion, it's a very under rated shade! Again, its a lustre finish so it's quite sheer and glossy but very build able.
