The Sunday Edit #19

Credit: Pinterest

I can't believe that we are already half way through a school term and in less than 4 weeks we will be finishing for the October half term! I am so glad it is finally nearing Autumn, it's my favourite season! We stayed home this weekend so I have been very productive and everything that had needed doing for ages has been done! I have tidied my room, gone through my wardrobe and out anything I didn't want in a charity bag and then put all my summer clothes away and replaced it with all my autumn/winter clothes, planned and typed up all my posts for the next few weeks, finished some art work off that needed doing and later on I plan on deep cleaning all of my makeup brushes because they are starting to look disgusting!

This week has really just been an average week, nothing special has really happened.  Next week however, I have my Post 16 evening on Tuesday. Me and my parents have to go to my school and speak to loads of different people about colleges, apprenticeships, A-levels, careers, universities, everything!  It's hard to believe that I only have 8 months left of school and then I'm out into the big wide world.  I am planning on doing A-levels in law, business, maths and accountancy and then I would like to do an Open University course and get a job.  I don't really want to go to actual university because I wouldn't want to be away from home and it would be really hard to have a job, be going to Uni a couple of days a week and have to pay for university, accommodation and the essentials like food and clothes. I think it would be easier and better for me to stay and do it from home.

I hope you have all had a lovely week, if there are any more autumn themed posts that you would like to see, feel free to leave me some ideas because I always take your feedback into consideration!

Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!

I was nominated for this award by the lovely Courtney from A Little Lippy Goes A Long Way.  As I understand, this is very similar to the Liebster Award which I have got twice now so I am so glad to be nominated for a third time, it makes me so happy to know that people appreciate me and my little corner of the internet!

The Rules

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their site.
  • Put the award logo on your blog
  • Answer the 10 questions that they have set you
  • Makeup 10 new questions for your nominees to answer
  • Nominate 10 more people!

The questions Courtney has set me:
  1. Would you rather use only one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?  That is such a hard question! I am massively into eyeshadow but I am getting more and more into lip products so this is a hard question! I think I would say one eyeshadow, although eyes are important, I think lips really make the look and you can dress a look up or down just by changing the colour of lipstick.  In the autumn I also love a really bold dark lip, I find that even though I resemble a ghost, I think dark reds look really pretty on pale skin tones, very snow white-esque!
  2. What was the first makeup item you ever owned?                                                                         I think the first makeup item I ever owned was a pink eyeshadow from Rimmel when I was 6 or 7. I have been dancing since I was 3 and because it was the dance show, I wanted to wear some makeup and I remember excitedly running into super drug with my mum and picking up this shocking pink eyeshadow, and I think I may have picked up a baby pink lipgloss as well!
  3. If you could only buy from one makeup brand, which brand would you choose?                         If I could only buy from one brand, it would have to be Mac! Their products are of such amazing quality and they have such a wide range of colours in every product, I think I could easily walk in there and find what I was looking for quite easily.  Even though they are pretty pricey, I think the products are so worth it.
  4. Which makeup brand do you think has the best packaging?                                                          If I am picking a brand of which I own products from, I think it would have to be Chanel because it is just so classy and sophisticated.  It is timeless and will never look old fashioned or fuddy-duddy.  I also think Yves Saint Laurent's packaging is pretty, especially their rouge volupté shines!
  5. What is the one product you would grab if your house was on fire?                                                Would it be cheating if I said my muji storage? Technically it is just one thing, it just happens to be full of all my favourite products! I seriously wouldn't be able to choose because there are so many products that I just couldn't live without!
  6. What is your signature scent?                                                                                                         My signature scent is Thierry Mugler's Alien Perfume.  It is my autumn/winter scent as it is quite heavy but I think it is so mature and sophisticated without being too old for me.  The pump is stuck on my bottle though which makes me sad :(
  7. Who's your favourite beauty vlogger?                                                                                                I watch so many beauty you tubers, it is so hard to choose! I think possibly Vivianna Does Makeup may just be my favourite, however I love Lily Pebbles, Essie Button, Amelia Liana, Hello October, Shaaanxo, Lauren Curtis, all of them!!
  8. Which product is at the top of your wish list?                                                                                 At the moment I am desperate for Mac Cranberry Eyeshadow because I really want to start experimenting more with colour and I think this is the perfect shade for Autumn.
  9. What type of product do you buy most of?                                                                                     I buy loads of everything! I think I seem to be buying skincare more than makeup at the moment, I think there have been so many new skincare launches with rave reviews recently, it's hard to resist!
  10. What's the beauty rule you preach but never actually practice?                                                     Washing makeup brushes! I have done various posts on it and I am always banging on to you about how important it is to wash your brushes, but I do mine literally once a month, if that! Slap on the wrist for me!
My Questions:

  1. If you could create a lipstick, what sort of shade would it be, what you call it and what would the packaging look like?
  2. If you could create an eyes, face and lips palette which 3 products from each category would you put in there? They can be anything and from any brand!
  3. If you wanted to dye your hair a whacky colour, what colour would you choose?
  4. If you could only have one meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of your life, what would it be? You can pick 3 courses!
  5. What is your favourite season?
  6. Which Autumn trend are you most excited to be sporting this season?
  7. What is your favourite thing about yourself?
  8. What do you think the best thing about blogging is?
  9. What encouraged you to start blogging?
  10. What is your favourite candle?

Updated Skincare Routine - Autumn 2014

I don't really change up that much in my skincare routine in the transition from summer to autumn, however I have changed my routine up quite a bit recently so I thought I would give you an updated version of my skincare routine!

To take off the worst of my makeup, I use the The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil.  I just use about 2 pumps of this, massage on to a fully made up my face, add a splash of water and you start to look very attractive indeed.  I actually hate the feel of this on my face because I hate anything oily, but it is so satisfying to watch your makeup just slide off! Now all thats left to do is to rinse this off!

Next I go in with my favourite Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to just make sure that all makeup has gone and all the oil has also gone because it tends to break me out if it is left on.  This stuff is a god send and I seriously don't know what I would do without it now!

To further cleanse (I'm a bit of a clean freak when it comes to my face) I use my new favourite cleanser which is the Yes to Tomatoes Daily Clarifying Cleanser for Combination Skin (try saying that fast!).  I love how this is so gentle on my skin because a lot of cleansers that target oily skin are usually quite harsh and stripping but this one doesn't leave my skin tight or red.

My favourite step, toning! I use the Lush Tea Tree Water.  I love just spraying this all over my face, it is so cooling and refreshing and just calms my skin after all my obsessive cleansing! Tea Tree is a natural anti-bacterial so it helps to calm any existing breakouts and prevent any new ones from forming!

Next is moisturising, my most hated step.  I don't know why I hate it so much,  just don't tend to get on with moisturisers so I usually skip this step which is really bad but I don't really care, it keeps me happy! If my skin is feeling particularly dry and I have no choice, I will use the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo which I personally don't like (shock horror!) and I just feel it does nothing for my skin, if anything it just makes it worse.  Sometimes I will use my sample size of the REN Clarimatte T-Zone Balancing Gel Cream which is ok, not fantastic but if I need it, I will use it. I just think all moisturisers I have tried break me out and make my face feel like an oil-slick within 10 minutes so I just don't bother.

My favourite part of my pamper routine, Masks! My current favourite mask is the Avon Clearskin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask.  I only paid £2 for it and it is easily comparable to the origins charcoal mask.  I use this every Sunday and Monday, as it advises to use 2-3 times a week.  You just spread a thin layer of product over your face, wait 10 minutes for it to go white and then wash off and your face is left feeling clean and looking clear and healthy!  I definitely recommend this if you have combination/oily skin like mine that can be problematic or if you are just looking for a really deep clean.  It is definitely worth a try and for £2 it is practically a steal!

That is every step in my routine, if you have any products that you recommend moisturiser-wise, please let me know!

The Sunday Edit #18

This week has been quite a good week, I feel proud of myself because I have worked really hard and I am ahead on all my school work and blogposts so I don't feel rushed to do anything! On wednesday it was open evening for new year 7's so I had a great opportunity to go and spend some time in the art room making sure I had got my project up together before I start on the next one.  I have now started collecting prospectuses for some colleges and I am due to be going to some open days within the next few weeks which is quite scary and not only do I have to try and find somewhere to go where I am happy, I have to try and figure out what courses I want to take which is quite stressful!

This weekend I have been at the caravan as per usual.  I have been re-watching series 4 of Downton Abbey before series 5 starts tonight which I literally can't wait for and I am watching a series 4 add-on as I type! We went out for a meal last night and watched a band in the local pub and today we have just lazed around.  I haven't been feeling brilliant today, I think I might have a cold coming so I have been watching Youtube videos, scrolling through bloglovin' and making a birthday list because it is my birthday in 72 days (I'm a bit sad).  I am trying to work out which products to put in my September favourites because I have just realised that it is coming to the end of the month! I have a few products in mind but although I bought a lot of new products to try last month, being back at school I haven't really been wearing much makeup and have been sticking to what I know I like.

I hope you have all had a lovely week and a lovely weekend and I will be back on Wednesday!

Ebay Makeup Brushes ❤

Brushes :- Ebay, £8.85

I am always up for a bargain so when I spotted these sigma-esque dupes on Ebay for only £8.85, I was all over them.  They had a huge range of different colours, but naturally I opted for pink.  In the picture on ebay, they come across as a very pale baby pink colour when actually they are more of a dark corally colour but that's besides the point, chances are if you're reading this post you are more likely interested in the quality rather than the shade of pink that they are.

The set comes with 5 face brushes and 5 smaller eye/face brushes.  They are very similar to sigma brushes and xo beauty and I think the quality is just as good.  All of these brushes blend both liquid and powder products beautifully without smearing or leaving a trail of bristles strewn across your face.  I have used the large ones for foundation and other cream products like highlighter and blush.  My favourites are the flat top one and the round top, I find these the easiest to use in order to get a flawless base.  The small ones work amazing for concealer, cream eyeshadows and blending.  I use the pointed one for pin point concealing, the fluffy round top for buffing concealer in under my eyes and the flat top for powdering under my eyes.  The other 2 I use for applying cream shadows and blending shadows.

I haven't washed them yet (slap on the wrist for me) so I can't comment on that but I think for the price, they are brilliant quality and I couldn't be without them now.  They come with a travel bag as well so they are easy to travel with, an all round good bargain!

A Weekend in the New Forest and a day in Downton Abbey!

I thought it was about time that there were a few more lifestyle posts around these parts, besides my Sunday Edits.  I figured it is a better way of you getting to know me and what I like to do rather than just what I think about beauty products!

As mentioned in my Sunday Edit, I spent the weekend in the New Forest for my Mum's birthday.  I have been going to the New Forest pretty much all my life and it is the perfect Autumn destination. It did feel a little odd running through the leaves in a dress and dolly shoes I must say! We went for a drive along the moors to see the wild ponies, got held up for about 15 minutes whilst about 50 cows strolled across the road and enjoyed the scenery.  It is so nice to stay in a log cabin and every day you can wake up and look out the window to see the leaves falling from the trees and squirrels running around.  I love squirrels so much, if you could keep squirrels as pets I think I would definitely be the crazy squirrel lady.

Another thing you should know about me, Downton Abbey is my guilty pleasure.  I am most definitely a 70 year old woman trapped in a 16 year old's body, I love nothing better to sit and drink tea whilst watching my Downton box set believe it or not!  Downton Abbey is filmed at Highclere Castle in West Berkshire and was only about 50 minutes away from where we were staying and me and my mum being massive Downton fans, we couldn't resist it.  It was such lovely day out, the grounds are so picturesque and the castle itself is just to die for.  I thoroughly enjoyed walking round the castle and it was so weird feeling like you were stood in Downton Abbey and walking through all the rooms that I have seen on TV about a million times before, it was very surreal!  We also had lunch sat outside looking up at the house and the weather was perfect for it as well.  Although it was very expensive, I do think it was worth it and I would definitely go again! Photography was not allowed in the castle which pleased me no end, but here are a few I managed to get of the outside and the grounds surrounding it:-

Let me know if you would like some more lifestyle posts similar to this one and I will do one every time I go somewhere worth documenting!

The Sunday Edit #17

This week has been pretty good, I haven't had any arguments with my tutor, my lessons haven't too bad and I haven't been stressed out because of the amount of work I have. This week I was asked to go to Aushcwitz next February with the school for a trip to help with our history GCSE, I am really looking forward to it as I love history and I love learning about World War 2 and everything that was happening in Germany at the time.

This weekend we have been staying in the new forest for my mums birthday weekend. It is so lovely here, we went to Lymington on Saturday and had a wander around the marina and some shops which was really nice and the journey there was nice as well, we drove all along the moors and saw all the wild horses! Today we are off to Highclere castle, which is the castle that they film Downton Abbey in and I can't wait!! I'm hopefully going to do a post with pictures about this weekend to show you some of the lovely scenery and what we've been up to so that will hopefully be up at some point this week.

I hope you have all had a lovely week and enjoy your weekend!

The Princess Tag 💝

This tag has been floating around the internet for a while and I get a lot of questions about high-end products and whether they are worth the money, so in this tag, I have compiled a little list of all the products I recommend splurging on! I tag you all to do this tag, all you have to do is name a princess product from each category!

Foundation // Obviously I would have to choose my Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation as it is my only high end foundation, and also my favourite! I don't like to spend too much on foundations unless I can test them for a while before hand because me and my skin are very picky as to what foundations we like!  I find it hard to find foundations that I like, as well as them agreeing with my skin and not breaking me out, and this one definitely ticks all the boxes.  The finish is perfect, the coverage is perfect, the formula is perfect, it is just perfect! I have raved about this enough so I will move on....

Concealer // I really like my Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, its just a shame that it is too dark for me. The coverage is phenomenal, the formula is really creamy and long lasting and it is an all round amazing concealer.  The only thing I hate is the pump because it pumps way too much product out but I am willing to overlook that because the product itself is really good.

Powder // I don't actually own a high end powder but I am looking into Benefit's Porefessional Powder, so I'll keep you posted...

Blush // I had to pick the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in the shade cherub. This is my all time favourite blush and I would definitely repurchase it as I think it is good value for money because you need the tiniest amount and they last so long! Click Here to see a full review of this product and swatches!

Bronzer // My all time favourite bronzer is Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder.  It is the perfect shade for my ghostly skin and I can get away with wearing it all year round without looking orange, muddy or just ridiculous! I am on the hunt of a drugstore dupe because I am living in constant fear of hitting pan and I think parting with £27 for a bronzer (as amazing as it is) is ridiculous, so if you know of any cheaper dupes, let me know!

Highlight // I found this difficult because I have been using Benefit High Beam so much recently and I am in love with it but I couldn't betray my bae (cringe) Mac Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish. This is so worth the money, I have used this constantly since the beginning of December 2013 and it is still showing no signs of wear.  You need the smallest amount to achieve a subtle, non-glittery glow and it can also be used as eyeshadow, which I do a lot on lazy days or when I'm in a rush, just to save time!

Eyeshadow // There is no doubt about it, I have to say the Urban Decay Naked 3.  I love rosy toned eyeshadows so this was so up my street! The colours are stunning with a huge range to create so many different looks and the quality of the shadows, besides the fallout, are on point.  This is the perfect palette and I definitely recommend it, however, there are a lot of cheaper alternatives from the likes of Makeup Revolution if you don't fancy kissing goodbye to £37.

Mascara // It had to be Benefit They're Real I have gone through multiple minis of this mascara and a full size and it is definitely the best I have used!  Their are a lot of drugstore mascaras that are similar and do similar things but I do think this is amazing.  The only thing I would say, is that the tubes don't last very long before they dry out so once you start using it, you have to use it every single day until it gets dry to get your moneys worth.

Lips // This was the hardest category because I have quite a few high end lip products that I am in love with so I am going to cheat a little bit on this one and mention a few of my favourites.  If you have been around these parts for a while, then you will know of my unconditional love for Mac Lipsticks (apart from the shade 'snob' which I loathe) with my all time favourites being Peach Blossom and Plumful. The formulas are great, the shade range is amazing, in my opinion they have too much choice and the packaging is just so classic and sophisticated.  However, I'm a little bit miffed at the fact that the prices just keep creeping up, making them a very rare treat! If you have read my previous haul and favourites posts, then you will be aware of my new found love for the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in the shade 'boy'.  It is the perfect nude for me, has an amazing formula and is so easy to wear, I love it.  The packaging is gorgeous and I feel all mature and sophisticated when I casually whip out my Chanel lippie for touch ups, the small things! If we are talking glosses, then my all time favourite gloss is Nars Turkish Delight as it is so easy to just throw on and can go over any lipstick and look amazing.

I tag you all to do this tag, leave your links below!

Skincare on Trial ❤

Oooh I do love a bit of skincare, who doesn't? I love trying out new things and finding some good products that my skin gets on well with and improves my skin.

Everyone and their mother has raved about The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil but I was always sceptical because I have oily skin, so why the hell would I want to put more oil on my face?! I was browsing the body shop, and picked it up to have a little looksy and noticed that it said for all skin types so it immediately had to come home with me.  I hate the way it feels on my face because obviously its very greasy but it just lifts of makeup so quickly and easily, and once it is washed off, my face is totally clean and feels soft and supple.  This is a very gentle product so would be good for anyone with sensitive skin and I didn't feel like it stripped my face off.  I think it might have broken me out a little bit when I first started using it but I think it was just bringing all the gunk in my skin to the surface, which cleared up within a few days.

I have always gotten on well with Ren Products so I was delighted when they offered to send me some samples to try.  They sent me the ClearCalm 3 Anti-Blemish Treatment Mask which I was really excited about.  It smells like sudocrem (if this was slapped over any of your cuts and grazes when you were a child, then you know exactly what I'm talking about!) which did put me off a bit at first but I got used to it.  I have only used this twice and my pores do seem to appear smaller and it did help calm some of my existing breakouts which was good and I quite like this!  They also sent me the Clarimatte T-Zone Balancing Gel Cream which I am still unsure about.  I didn't notice any difference in the amount of oil on my skin, however it did feel nice on the skin and did help to minimise the amount of dry patches I had.

That is it for the moment, I will update you on these products very soon!

The Sunday Edit #16

I am so sorry this post is up so late, Blogger had a bit of a meltdown on me! At first this morning it wouldn't publish, then it said it did so I left it, checked up on it about 5 minutes ago and it hadn't, went to publish it again and then it put up a blank post and everything I had written had been deleted! Not happy...

Anyways, this week hasn't really been the best. I went back to school on Wednesday and they have changed everything! They changed the house and tutor system which I hate, plus I have a horrible tutor and they have moved my locker as well! I ended up with the duff locker with a huge dent in and a dodgy lock, and also I have the tutor from hell!  She has been so horrible this week, forcing all the girls to take their makeup off whilst she is stood there caked in foundation with stripes for blusher, a black smokey eye and a red lip.........as you can imagine, I wasn't a happy bunny and I am dreading going to school tomorrow, purely for the fact she is just going to pick on me again! Anyway, rant over! I would love to hear your thoughts on this subject, I know people have a lot of different views on whether or not you should wear makeup to school.  I personally think its fine as long as its subtle and I think it is bang out of order to make an already self-conscious girl, strip her face in front of the whole class and then having to walk round school all day long!

Enough ranting, on to something a bit better!  This weekend I have been at my caravan.  The weather has been pretty good for once, so good in fact that we cracked the barbecue out yesterday!  After we had eaten, we went out to see some entertainment in the local pub and we had a really good time.

Today has been spent meandering around the local market, watching some netflix, arguing with blogger and attempting to pre-write this weeks posts.

I hope you have all had a lovely week and a lovely weekend!

100th Blogpost - A Little Life Update!

When I started up this little corner of the internet back in February, I never thought I would be still here, 100 posts later! I love my blog and I put so much hard work and effort into making it what it is today.

I went back to school on Wednesday and as I am in my last year of GCSE's, the workload is crazy.  It is with regret that I have to tell you that I am cutting down on posts due to how busy I am with my studies.  Instead of the usual 4 a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) there will be 3 a week which means there won't be a post on a Monday.  This means there will only 2 beauty posts instead of 3 because I love my Sunday Posts because they are a way of just communicating with you about my life instead of focussing on a particular beauty product.  I know you are all lovely people and will understand this and hopefully throughout the school holidays I will be able to blog daily to make up for it.

I know I only have a small number of followers compared to some other bloggers, but I am proud of my blog and I have worked my socks off to ensure that there are 4 posts up a week and they are all created to the best of my ability.  Thank you to all of you who take time out of your day to read my blog and I really appreciate all of your support!  All of the likes on bloglovin' and just the small things like a +1, really make my day.

If there are any particular posts you would like to see or if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me, I love hearing from you and being able to talk to new people.  If you would also like to collaborate with me, I would be more than happy to.  I really enjoyed working with Dalal back in May and would love to do it again.

Thank you again!

My Muji Storage / Makeup Collection - September 2014 ❤

*Disclaimer - I recently bought a new camera and the photos in this post were the first pictures I took on it.  I was experimenting a bit and really didn't have a clue what I was doing so sorry if the quality is not brilliant!
Pretty much every blogger has the Muji Acrylic Storage, so it was only right that I got some as well!  I am so pleased with it, it only took 3 days to arrive and I think you get really good value for money.  I bought 2 of the Acrylic 2 Wide Drawer Sets because I knew that one wouldn't be enough.  I haven't got my whole makeup collection in this, just the products that I use the most.  I may have to invest in another set soon because it is a tight squeeze and my collection keeps growing, but this is adequate for now!

In the top drawer, I keep foundations, cc creams, concealers, primers, base products in general.  My favourite foundations in here are the Mac Studio Fix FluidRimmel Match Perfection and the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream.  My favourite concealer of all time is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and I like to use the Mac Pro-Longwear Concealer in the summer when I have a bit of a tan because it is a little bit darker.  I have also been trying the Garnier Anti-dark Under Eye Roll-on and so far, I'm impressed!  For primers, I have pretty much all sample sizes at the moment.  I have Benefit Porefessional which you know I love, Benefit 'That Gal' which I'm warming to and tucked away at the back is Mac Prep+Prime Skin which I haven't really had the chance to try yet.
The second drawer is for my face products, powder, blush, brozer etc. I have 2 Rimmel Stay Matte Powders because this is my holy grail and I always have at least 2 in my possession at any one time for fear of running out! Then I have a lot of blushes, some MUA, some NYX, a sleek one and my favourite, the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blusher in the shade 'Cherub'.  I have a few mini benefit products, I have watts up, high beam and benetint which I am trying to use up to see if I am interested in buying the full size.  For bronzers, I have Benefit Hoola which I used to love and am trying to use more so I can save my absolute favourite Nars Laguna which I'm growing ever more scared of hitting pan on! Last but definitely not least is Mac Soft and Gentle which is my all time favourite highlighter.
The third drawer is my eye drawer.  I have my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette which as you know, I love, a few single shadows from MUA and L'oreal, Eye Liners, Mascaras, cream shadows from Mac and Maybelline, some jumbo eye pencils from NYX and pretty much everything eye related!  I have a few mascaras that I am trying to encourage myself to use more so I can use them up and not waste them like the Revlon Lash Potion and the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless, neither of which are on my hit list but I am trying to encourage myself to like them!  All of the rest of the products are things that I reach for a lot and I get a lot of use out of.

Lastly is my lip drawer.  In here, I keep all of my favourite drugstore lip products.  I have some MUA lipsticks tucked away at the back along with some more benefit samples.  Some of my favourite chubby pencils, the Revlon Lacquer Balm and the Rimmel Colour Rush Balm, both of which are amazing.  I also have my Collection Cream Puff's, which as you know I have a lot of love for, along with my Maybelline Baby Lips and MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquers.  Last but not least, I have my Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub which I have started using a lot more recently.
On the top, I just keep the products that I couldn't fit in my Muji Drawers or ones I want to keep on display.  I have a jar with all my high end lipsticks in from the likes of Mac, Chanel and Nars and my kabuki brush and real techniques miracle complexion sponge.  I have my MUA Palettes, eye lash curlers, mascara, eyeliners and eye primer which I use every day in a separator from Fragrance Direct so they are easier to get to.  Last but not least, I have some skincare samples that Ren were kind enough to send me!

That is all for my Muji Storage tour, if you have any questions about any of the products shown or about my storage, feel free to leave a comment or hit me up on twitter.  All links are in my Social Media Page.

August Favourites ❤

How the hell is it September already? I don't like how fast time is going!  I don't have that many favourites this month, surprisingly.  I thought I would have loads because I have tried out so many new products this month, but there are quite a few of them that just haven't floated my boat.

My first favourite is the Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation.  I finally gave into the hype and purchased this when I was on holiday, and I have never looked back!  The coverage is perfect, its full without looking cakey.  The finish is not quite matte, I would say it is more of a satin finish which makes it perfect for my oily skin and I have made it last from 7:20 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening and it still looked presentable which is pretty much unheard of for me.  It blends seamlessly and looks flawless, overall, it is just an amazing foundation and I think it is definitely worth the splurge!

Another pricey product, the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipshine in the shade 'boy' has definitely been my most worn lipstick this month and will continue to be one of my most worn lipsticks.  It is my perfect nude and I can wear it with any makeup look and it looks amazing.  The formula is amazing, really glossy, sheer and moisturising and it is quite long lasting for something so creamy! I definitely recommend this to someone who wants a high end lip stick but doesn't really know what to get because the sheerness of the formula makes it so easy to wear.

I have raved about the MUA Undressed and Undress Me Too palettes continuously throughout this month, but I am going to do it once again!  These palettes are absolutely brilliant.  There are so many different shades to create so many different looks and the quality is easily comparable to some higher end brands.  I did a whole review of them here where I compared them to the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I highly recommend these to people wanting some good neutral palettes but don't want to spend too much.

My last 2 favourites are nail polishes.  I have raved about the Barry M Gelly Polishes before but these 2 colours are my favourite.   I have been wearing 'Pink Punch' and 'Greenberry' constantly this month, I have green berry on my nails at the moment and I absolutely love them! The shade range is good, the formula is amazing and the price is amazing for the quality.  These are by far my favourite nail polishes at the moment!

Let me know what you have been loving this month!
